Running a website or Facebook contest is one way to go viral with your contents; the price you give away doesn’t have to be expensive, but it has to be relevant to your niche.

A web designer that runs a contest giving away Blackberry phones and Ipads as gifts, will have the wrong crowd entering for that promotion (people that will never need a website), the web designer will end up accruing costs instead of benefits as his email management fee and some other associated fees will go up. Rather, a web designer can give away a free web design to the winner(s) of the contest or promotion, that way only people interested in web design will enter for the promotion.

2. Share Your Success Strategies with Your Audience
If you’ve been successful in a particular aspect of your business or endeavour then share it with your audience, get practical with them, they’ll come to familiarize with you and trust you the more, that way they can help your brand/business as they’ll be more open to help your contents go viral.

3. Write a Part 2 of One of Your Blog Posts that was Extremely Popular

Go through your post archives, fetch those ones that were popular (ones with high comments and share rate) and write an expanded version of it, add more thoughts to it and publish.
