Ibos people are very funny set of character....like the Yoruba adage goes....they only remember the meat they are chewing in mouth....once swallowed...they forgot they've eaten meat.

The point is that Soyinka is not infallible. If he on on the right path, he'll get kudos, if he drifts to wrong path he should expect knocks. He is a man, not a god.

Insulting and fighting a woman publicly was one of his lows. Igbos are not at war with Soyinka, he was NEVER our enemy. We even criticize Ojukwu and Zik, let alone Soyinka.

Calling a "mad" professor sane, and calling thieves, "progressives", which one is more double standard? smiley

If you are at permanent war with Soyinka, that's your lot. As far as most Igbos are concerned, Wole Soyinka is a man not a god. If he makes mistakes or go contrary to our interest we reserve the right call him out. If you want to worship him or hate him in perpetuity, by all means go ahead. It has nothing to do with Igbo or PointB.

This adage of yours would be more useful to tinubu, buhari and the rest of 'progressives' that are now frolicking with obj and ex-pdp thieves don't you think?
