Idiott.
What's your states govts doing with their huge allocations?
Nollywood employs thousands of Nigerians, boosts the economy and is probably more productive than the entire North-east combined.
3 billion is too small for Nollywood sef.

Re: It Doesn't Make Sense, Nollywood more Important than North East to GEJ by Kajiang02(m): 11:03pm On Dec 24, 2013
What and what is the dev fund for?
Do these regions have segments known as states?
Does the states have governors?
Is there allocation giving to these states monthly to run the states?

Help yourself in repeating this questions but this time, make it nollywood. Cos I wonder what your observations are?

Nollywood raises more revenue, and its a big plus for the Nigerian economy but the North East supply us with appalling numbers of terrorists each year, hence killing the economy.

Nollywood creates jobs for our youth, while the North East creates a suitable environment for the maiming of our youths.

Nollywood is Africa's biggest film industry while North East is the unsafest place in Sub-Saharan Africa.

Nollywood needs more attention because it brings Nigeria in good light, the same image that the North East have tainted with Boko Haram identity.

So you see, Nollywood is of a million importance than the whole North East and North West. SO DEAL WITH IT.

MERRY CHRISTMAS WITH FRESH AIR!

Yes, and this is just the beginning! Unless we fought for our right step him down by force or make sure he arrives to the hell soon, the idiotic and tribalism activities of GEJ is astronomically boosting!

This is what will keep happening as our senators; reps members; 70% of northern politicians are only concerned about their pocket! They don't work in the interest of their people, they are after the oil money which makes them abandoned our natural resources, talk-less of boosting/transforming our economy!

why didn't yaradua and all your nothern presidents transform your non-existent economy?
Afterall, the north has been in power for decades.
Why're you blaming jonathan who is just in his 3rd year in office.?
Keep blaming jonathan, and don't hold your leaders responsible.
We'll see how far that will get you.

N2 Billion Budget For Security In The
North-east?
President Jonathan never fails to amaze
Nigerians. The north-east, which currently
is the most volatile zone, would get a paltry
N2 billion for security and reconstruction in
2014. Boko Haram sponsors would be
having a good laugh by now. Even they
will vote more than N2 billion for their 2014
killing operations. Is President Jonathan
serious? Does this not finally expose the
president regarding his attitude towards
security in certain parts of the country?
What does the president then say to his
numerous detractors who say that he is in
fact enjoying and intends to electorally
benefit from the crisis in the north-east?
I have never seen a politician who makes
the job of his detractors so easy as
President Jonathan. That is precisely why
the APC’s preferred presidential candidate
for the PDP in 2015 remains President
Jonathan. And, by the way, those who
think that there will be no elections in parts
of the north-east because there will be
emergency in place (reference to Prof.
Jega’s statement) should perish the idea
because there will be elections in the
whole of Nigeria in 2015. The APC-
controlled House of Reps will never grant
approval for any extension of emergency to
reach the election period.
