First make sure you have an unlocked bootloader secondly download the custom rom of your choice thirdly download a custom recovery like cwm (flash using fastboot command ie. fastboot flash recovery recovery. img) finally flash your ROM using cwm.. its that easy it's just a hint you can Google it for more details I've done this to over 15 desire s  you can always contact me if you need help via WhatsApp
