Obasanjo Lacks Moral Justification To Accuse Jonathan –adebanjo by Nobody: 6:55pm On Dec 27, 2013 |
A chieftain of the Afenifere, a Yoruba socio-political organisation, Ayo Adebanjo, has said that former President Olusegun Obasanjo lacks moral justification to level allegations against President Goodluck Jonathan in his (Obasanjo)’s 18- page letter recently written to the President. Adebanjo, who spoke as a guest on Channels Television News and Currents Affairs programme ‘Politics Today’, expressed shock over the contents of the letter written by Obasanjo to President Jonathan, insisting that Obasanjo himself is guilty of all the allegations he made in the letter. While expressing surprise that Obasanjo could write such a letter, Adebanjo accused the former President of equally displaying some of the issues he raised against Jonathan, insisting that Obasanjo also had issues of corruption, highhandedness, and disobedience to the judiciary during his era as the president. “Who is more guilty of all these than Obasanjo?” he queried. The Afenifere chieftain noted that the exchange of letters online by Obasanjo and his daughter, Iyabo, did not portray Nigeria in good light, saying “a country that has produced the likes of Nnamdi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo, among others, is being ruled by a man of this moral character; it’s a shame,” he said. He debunked the claim that the reply allegedly written by Iyabo was written by someone else, insisting that, “this is not the first time Obasanjo’s child is saying something odd against him. Obasanjo has not denied the alleged affair between him and his daughter-in-law. The farmer is a liar,” he added. http://dailyindependentnig.com/2013/12/obasanjo-lacks-moral-justification-accuse-jonathan-adebanjo/ |

It is the right thing to caution a president but not from a person like Obj. Obj has done more than good. He doesn't worth to be called a Yoruba man. |

OBJ's greed and pride is still attracting negative comments. I know that Obj fooled himself by that letter. He will live to regret his action, that is if has any sense of morality left in him considering his immoral appetite. |
