Glory to God that this season is not riddled with high way crime related news, though this might not be generally due to the efficiency of the security operative ( cant rule them out entirely). I covered about 3000 kilometers to realise that four factors actually led to this drastic reduction and they are;
1. The roads are getting better( you can choose to debate this but may be in another thread)
2. Kidnapping business ( its a general knowledge that kidnapping is now a more 'safer and lucrative business')
3. Boko haram insurgency ( most people that operate in the northern region have been hoodwinked into this)
4. cashless transaction
