Africa time has come  Sao Tomé and Principe is among the highest on the entire African continent (averaging 70 years) Sao Tome and Principe is a truly peaceful nation, life expectatncy is goog, almost 70 years on average! and do not forget that the best times are still ahead of Sao Tome , 2 billion barrels of oil have recently been discovered, some analyst put oil reserves surrounding that island nation on par with those of Norway (!!!!). that means 11-12 billion barrels of crude (but "only" 2 billion have been discovered up to now).... but oil export didn’t start until 2010..so the country didn’t see any money till then! Keep in mind that Sao Tome only has 160 000 inhabitants and it is politically a free society with relatively well functioning institutions, no dreadful dictator is in place like in Equatorial Guinea, Sao Tome has no history of war and the like...check out Freedom House Index...more and more investment starts to trickle in...Prestana Group are currently building a new $50 million resort on the island and a new marina for 300 million dollars hasbeen proposed. I do think that Sao Tomé which is still poor nowadays will rank among Africa´s leading richest nations (in terms of capita per head and "HDI" Index) in 10-15 years time....it wouldn´t surprise me if it tops all the others. It will be the "Brunei or Qatar of Africa"! (due to its small size)
