Good afternoon Nairalanders.
I was travelling to Abuja from Ile-Ife Osun State, when we got to Owo junction(where there's a road going towards Benin) we turn to left to proceed our journey to Abuja but shortly after leaving the junction(about 1Km) we got to a checking point mounted by Nigerian Army. We saw vehicles turning back but never knew what was wrong until we moved closer to a soldier who told us there's a crisis and they are burning vehicles and killing people. We had to turn back and go back to the junction then turn left towards Benin Road. When we got to a particular village we turned left again towards Kabba Road. We got to a junction(the straight road leads to Kabba so we turned right) then turn right to proceed our journey to Abuja.

Oga MOD please move it to the front page. We shall not fall victim(just as they were attacking travellers during Modakeke-Ife Crises).
