PREMIUM TIMES Survive Major Hack Attack by agbameta: 3:28am On Jan 06, 2014

Readers and keen visitors to the Premium Times site struggled in vain early Sunday January 5 to access our news platform. The one-word report that the site had been “blocked” was the depressing information, which alerted them that we had come under a ferocious and hostile cyber attack, a process, which actually started Friday January 3.

After a drenching 9-hour recovery operation which brought together wonderful minds across three continents, we were finally able to restore hope and keep the site alive again.

We thank thousands of worried readers and colleagues who saw the vivid outlines of a nefarious and sponsored plot against the media and free expression in this onslaught directed at Premium Times.

Editor in Chief of Premium Times, Dapo Olorunyomi, said “we may have succeeded in fending off the wild wolves for a while, but it is typical and in the nature of the beast to return in greed.

“What is at stake is not the publishing rights of a newspaper but the fate of democracy, an accountable polity, and the possibility of an open and transparent society” Olorunyomi said, urging Nigerians to sacrifice all they have to retain an independent, pluralist, and ethical media.

Carry on your work of giving the Nigeria sinkers sleepless night. They have begun to do the needful in order to secure 2015, but by the grace of God, Nigeria and Nigerians will consume them all. We still need you around Premium times and no attack dogs deployed by the generation of the do the needful shall succeed at shutting you down.

Good to see APC dogs mention the name of GEJ in connection with the unfortunate attacks on Premium Times but this same bandits foam in the mouth when Nigerians accuse their paymaster, Tinubu, of sponsoring the dogs who go under water to vandalise gas pipelines just to score cheap political points. When the witch cries in the night and a child dies in the morning, who do we hold responsible for the death? If some dogs go under water, vandalise gas pipelines, cause disruption in public power supply in Lagos area and Lair Muhammed releases press statement, the following morning, using the disruption of public power supply as propaganda tool to attack the govt, I mean one does not have to be crime detective to see the connection and the fact that the leaders of APC are prime suspects. Even the EVIL antecedents of APC leaders (eg the killing of Funsho Williams) further supports this very strong suspicion.

An obvious acknowledgement of a well known fact that Premium times is a paid agent of Tinubu`s media propaganda against GEJ.....2015 is already near and we are waiting.

Amechi said he is no 1 on the sniper's list.

Hell Rufai said he is no 7.

One useless Cramjones last week claimed threat to his life.

Buhari said his life and Tinubu own are in danger.

SaharaRepoters said intelligent report warn them of vicous attack in Abuja

and now...PremuimTimes survives a hacking attack.

So nobody should lay claim to the number 2 list on the snipers list because am trying to consult my friend, family, foes to know if i should claim the spot or not.

Those who sponsor the vandalism of gas pipelines are those who benefit from it.

It is heart warming that the management of Premium Times knows this as a fact. I will only urge you guys to strive and stay an unmatchable-step ahead of the wild wolves.

The Nigeria of our dreams will become a reality someday.

Wellsaid.
For instance, why should APC be blamed for Pipelines Tompolo is being paid to protect in his zone?

Obviously to him, ordinary non public official like Tinubu is the beginning and end of his paymaster hence the usual Tinubu regurgitations and panic attacks..
