Closing out 2013 in a big way, Google manufacturers of "Google Glass" have released a new update- XE12.

Google Glass is a wearable heads-up display technology that connects you to the internet and your smartphone. It can bring you news, weather, tweets.

Basically Google Glass : can records what you see-Hands free, give direction to any preferred location, allows you to share pictures and upload videos, to speak to send a message, can also translates your voice.

The new feature of the XE-12 allows users to take a photo with the winking of your eyes, something that could only be done by installing a third party application. In other words, blinking while wearing the glass can accidentally capture a picture. Google said this new feature is faster than the camera button or voice action and also works with display off. The tech giant also said that this new feature could have various other uses in the feature. For example - " Imagine a day when you are riding at the back of a cab and you just wink at the payment meter to make payment, also you wink at a pair of shoes in the show glass and then your own size is shipped to your door".

Other features of the XE12 update includes chatting with friends, messaging everyone from your ski trip at once, sending picture message.

Google said "Once the glass is turned on, you can just say- OK Glass, share with YouTube" to send your clips to YouTube. XE12 also has a screen lock feature that locks the screen when the user deactivates the glass or take the glass off.

Being a Glass user will not come easy though. you will need to purchase your own for just $1,500 dollars and that's only if Google accepts your application to own one.
