After making its presence felt in the competitive category of mobile phones and tablets, Indian manufacturer Micromax is all set to enter in the laptops market. The company is present in the biggest tech show of the world: CES which officially begins tomorrow to showcase the product. The device is launched with the Canvas moniker and dubbed as LapTab, which as the name suggests is a two in one device that can be used as a laptop or a tablet. What’s more interesting is that it’s the first tablet that offers Windows 8 and Android operating system in dual-boot configuration.
With this launch, it seems rumours of Micromax launching a Windows Phone smartphone soon can also turn true as it’s the first device from the company running Microsoft OS.

But knowing Micromax’s pricing strategies, the device will definitely be priced affordably making it an ideal choice for those who want tablet’s portability with laptop’s functionality.
