Over 6 months ago, we posted pictures here from mile 2 bus stop of drainage channels already filled with dirt. The LASG was informed via its e-channels but up till this day nothing has been done about it. Whenever it rains the outlet meant for water is blocked so the water remains there.

The water is greenish already and this poses serious health danger for those trading around there and commuters who board buses there.

We once again call on the LASG to do some about this and other "newly constructed" drainage channels right from Orile on Badagry expressway already blocked.

Maintenance culture is a general Nigerian problem, that it happens in Abia doesn't make it right to happen in Lagos. Lagos is beyond all these states and should be an example. Just my thoughts though

Just as you said............"Its a Nigerian problem".

Lagos is part of Nigeria and as long as it has Nigerians in it, its a general issue.

At least, there are various programs on TVC, LTV that constantly educate the residents on the dangers of indescriminate dumping of refuse.

The rest is left in the hands of the people....................Or should the State Govt try the Abuja approach and chase the lower class that are notoriously dirty out of the city??

That road is a federal responsibility not state.Cos the west has been totally abandoned by PDP govt dosnt mean they should totally abandon some of the pple that voted for them.

So tank u for ur contribution, a child just fell ill cos of d mosquitoes, but no worries d child shuld die its not d state, community or LG fault na PDP fault. Oops sorry my bad, its GEJ fault.

We are not just watching Lagos for bad things, we are watching for the good things too. In coming days we will post about on going road rehabilitation in festac town ( a federal estate) by the state (LPWC) and local government. Also there will be posts about the progress on the 10-lane badagry expressway that is progressing.
