16 THINGS A CHRISTIAN MUST BELIEVE

A Christian must believe that:

---

1.The Bible is the word of GOD, not that it merely contains the word of GOD (2 Tim. 3:16, Heb. 4:12, 2 Pet, 1:16-21)

2. GOD is a person who created(brought into existence all material and spiritual substances), and that, out of the created material, HE personally formed the worlds and each creature therein (Gen. 1:1, 2:7,19; Ps. 8:9, John 1:3-4, E-ph. 3:9, Heb. 1:1-3, Rev. 4:11)

3.GOD created man in HIS image and likeness in one day, fully mature and highly intelligent, not that he descended from the molecules through the lower forms of life to the monkey and man (Gen. 1:26-27,2:7,19;Acts 17:26,James 3:9)

4.All angels and spirit were created by GOD fully matured and intelligent (Ezekiel 28:15, Col. 1:15-18,Rev. 4:11)

5. GOD created man, animals, fish, fowls, and plants to reproduce themselves after there own (Gen. 1:20-31, 2:5-7,19-25)

6. JESUS CHRIST is the son of GOD in a sense no man is-the only begotten son of the Father, not that HE is a son of GOD in the sense all men are. (Gen. 3:15, Isa. 7:14, 9:6-7, Mt. 1:18-25,Luke 1:34-35, Jn. 1:18, 3:16, Rev. 1:8-11)

7. The HOLY SPIRIT is a person, separate and distinct from both the Father and the Son. All 3 have their person own body, soul and spirit and make the Divine Trinity (1 John 5:17)

8. The birth of CHRIST was supernatural, not natural as is the case of all other men, He was a virgin born, and of the HOLY GHOST without a human father (Is. 7:14,9:6-7,Mt.1:18-25,Lk.1:34-35, John 1:1-14, 1 Tim. 3:16)

9: The death of CHRIST was expiatory, and not exemplary. HE died for all me and HIS blood is the only atonement for sin (Mt. 1:21,8:17,26:28, Acts 4:12, Heb. 1:3, Rev 1:5, 1 John 2:1-2)

10. JESUS CHRIST rose bodily from the dead, not spiritually, or as a spirit being, resurrected with flesh-and-bone body. (Lk 24:19, Acts 1:3;11, Phil. 3:20-21, Zech. 13:6, Rev. 1:18, Rom. 8:11)

11. JESUS CHRIST ascended into Glory bodily and will come in like manner to rule the world forever. (Jude 14, Rev 19:11-21, Acts 1:11, 1 Corinthians 15:24-28)

12. Man is a sinner fallen from original righteousness and without GODs redemption grace is lost. (Gen. 3, Rom. 5:12-21)

13. Man is justified by faith in the atoning blood of JESUS CHRIST, resulting from a supernatural regeneration from above (Rom. 5:1, John 3:3, Eph. 2:8-9)

14. Man, animals and plants are under degenerated and are under a curse and only through redemption in CHRIST will the whole creature will be restored to original perfection and goodness (Gen 3;6:5-22, 2 Pet. 3:7-13, Rom 5:12-21,1 Cor. 15:24-28)

15. All that accept CHRIST and conform to GODs plan for man will be saved, will also be resurrected from dead to immortality (Jn. 3:16, 5:28-29,Rom 8:17-24, 1 Cor. 6:2)

16. All men who reject CHRIST and GODs plan for man will pay the eternal death penalty for sin and will be punish forever in hell (Mk. 16:15-16, Jn. 3:16-20,Rev. 22:15,Rev 14:9-11)
