I just got a HP laptop day before yesterday and its really annoying me, its sluggish, goes blank at will, Imactually tired, Anyone with suggestions?? I NEED HELP!!!

do you have an ant-virus? im not saying its the cause but some anti-virus can slow your computer big time

I have the NORTON antivirus that came with the system, Any suggestions on what I can Do?

Speakin from experience, Norton slows the sys durin startup. But notwithstandin, i advice u check the programs that boots at startup and uncheck the 'unnecessary ones'. This can be achieved by typing 'msconfig' on d run command and selectin start up.

Be careful not to uncheck program names u are not familiar wit to avoid sys malfunction. When uncheckin, look to see where d program boots from. If its on program file it can be adviceable 2 uncheck if such programs are not necessary at bootup. Most especially, uncheck those programs that updates at startup but in no wise should u remove ur antivirus from startup.
