Hi Nairalanders,
Please reccomend a reliable auto machanic in Port Harcourt, my V6 1999 Toyota Camry is displaying "Check Engine" and "Track Off" on the dash board, besides the fuel consumption is a bit high now. The machanics I have met have not helped at all.
Thanks in advance.

karami_J,

I tried doing some research for you, check out this link: http://www.tundrasolutions.com/forums/suspension-and-axle/31974-vsc-abs-vsc-track-off-lights/

i think toyota might have an issue with this light coming on. like the last comment states on this site, it could be your YAW sensor which would cost you about 500 dollars, it could be cheaper since it could be less expensive for your type of car.

The problem is you need a OBDII port code reader that will do your diagnostics for you so you know exactly what is wrong with it. It cost to do that as well. And whomever is reading it has to know how to decode the error messages. But do your research, send an email to toyota. It might be a recalled part that they could replace for free depending on if the car qualifies, or it could be a real problem for the car that will just need to be replaced.

If you know what part it is, i have no problem shipping it to you from here if need be. I have a courier that leaves here on wednesdays, and will deliver parts by saturday to Lagos.

Hope this helps! smiley
