VACANCY INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY OFFICER

A recently licensed Microfinance Bank in Ondo, with the goal of being a reference point for Microfinance Banking Services in the state is requires the services of an IT Officer.

Core functions include:

To Install, Configure and Administer an Integrated Management Information System for the bank, composed of the following modules: Human Resources Development Management System, Project Management System, Financial and Accounting Management System, Customer Relationship Management System after training.

Maintain and ensure the smooth operation of the technology solution, IT infrastructure of the bank

Responsible for maintaining all hardware and software utilized for the operation of the Bank and evaluate and/or recommend purchases of computers, networks hardware, peripheral equipment and software

Investigate user problems, identify their source, determine possible solutions, test and implement solutions

Install, configure and maintain personal computers, file servers, Ethernet networks, network cabling, and other related equipment devices and systems; adds or upgrades and configures modems, disk drives, data acquisition boards, CD ROM units, printers and related equipment

Plan and implement network and information security measures, manage host security, file permissions, back up and disaster recovery plans and file system integrity

Support the LAN, WAN, network segment, Internet and other operation systems as required
Provide day to day onsite administrative support for all MIS solutions software

Conduct technical trainings on IT and MIS for users within the Bank to maximize the use of Infrastructure and the MIS

Note: These four specifications apply:
• A sound understanding of the Nigerian Microfinance banking sector would be a distinct advantage
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in the use of Microsoft word, excel and access.

Qualification and Experience
• Bsc/HND in Information Technology, Information Management, Science, Engineering or similar/equivalent discipline
• Professional certification would be an added advantage
