We now have a jand irc channel on irc.freenode.net.

To join this channel is simple, if you are on linux or u are using GAIM or Pidgin(they have windows client too)

1. Add a new Account, chose IRC as the protocol
2. Enter your Jand username as the screen name
3. The channel is not protected so u don't need a password. U can just leave this space blank(or type password in the password field)
4. Save, a window will pop up giving you a message from NickServ, just type /join #jand and press enter.
5. You will immediately be logged in to jand's IRC channel

6. If you close the window and you want to come back to the channel, simple
7. Choose Buddies, Instant message
8. Type NickServ in the Name field and select your IRC account
9. Type /join #jand
10. And you are in again


If you are using another client like irssi, type
note: > means terminal its not part of the input

1. > irssi -c irc.freenode.net -n username
where username is ur jand username
2. Type /join #jand
