Earlier this year the president of kora mr earnest adjovi signed an agreement with the cross river state government for the hosting of the award for the next five years.they held the media presentation of the award with 50cents in attendance at abuja earlier this year.two months ago they held the nomination party and the investitution of asiwaju bola hamed tinubu as the patron of the award succeeding the living legend nelson mandela.meanwhile mr adjovi had collected $2.5million from cross river as the financial obligation towards the hosting of the award.things tend to change after mr adjovi experience the [b]EKO 4 SHOW SYNDROME[/b]during the nomination party,he changed his mind and decided to host the award in lagos come december,he even went ahead to start negotiation with lagos state government who after the negotiation had formed kora award committee.the news right now is that cross river state govt. had went ahead legally to stop the dubious act of mr adjovi and the result presently is that the high court in calabar had restrained mr adjovi from hosting kora award outside calabar.mr adjovi reason for changing the venue is incapacity and inability on the part of the cross rivers govt.with the way things are going i'm not sure we may have the opportunity of r-kelly(billed to perform at the show in december)performing in nigeria due to irrational behaviour of the president.what do you guys think?
