This is not a football related story but I just heard that that wastepipe-Kieran Richardson is dating Kelly Rowland of Destiny Child.More reason for us to get rid of the donkey Kelly Rowland may be the latest person to join the prestigious WAG club – she’s being dating Manchester United star Kieran Richardson. The Destiny’s Child singer has reportedly been seeing the footballer for the past couple of months, according to The Sun. The pair struck up their romance after meeting backstage at one of her gigs, and since then he’s been following her around while the bootylicious Rowland promotes her new album ‘Ms Kelly’. A source said: “Things are starting to heat up.” We wonder what Kieran’s Big Brother cousin Charley will have to say about his new lady… http://www.entertainmentwise.com/news?id=32678 |

Gill hints at striker move Manchester United chief executive David Gill has admitted the club may sign a new striker this summer. The Premiership champions have already been busy in the transfer market setting up deals for Owen Hargreaves, Nani and Anderson. Despite this spree Gill says the spending at Old Trafford may not be finished with yet as the club ponder bringing in a new striker. United have been linked with a number of top forwards in recent weeks including Dimitar Berbatov and Samuel Eto'o and Gill has hinted Sir Alex Ferguson may move for a new striker before the start of next season. "We have looked at it and we don't rule out another [signing]," Gill told Sky Sports News. "The area which is a striker but we will see what happens. "We are not desperate for it but if one came along that Alex [Ferguson] and the team felt would improve the squad we are prepared to do that." Gill also revealed that as a result of the new arrivals there will be the inevitable departures for some players at Old Trafford. "There will be some changes but it would be wrong to comment as to that but I think they will be discussions we will have internally," added Gill. "We have a got a large squad now there should be some people leaving, not many at all. "There should be some leaving and don't forget we have some great players coming back who have been on loan. "We want competition for places, we are looking to improve the squad and to take it on from last year "We are not resting on our laurels, we want to do even better next year on the pitch. "Alex is always looking to improve the quality of the team we have out there." I do not think we need a striker though |

SHOULD HEINZE LEAVE? Gabriel Heinze admits he would consider joining Barcelona, but will not rush into a decision on his Manchester United future. The Argentina defender has been strongly linked with a summer exit from Old Trafford, with Real Madrid and Juventus also keen. Heinze is currently preparing for the Copa America and will not reach a decision on his future until after the tournament. But the former Paris Saint Germain stopper concedes he would give serious thought to any offer to link up with Barcelona. "I know that some clubs are interested in me, but I have decided to leave this subject on stand-by for the moment," Heinze told the Sunday Mirror. "My head is with the Argentina team to play the Copa America. After that tournament I will make decisions about my career. "Barcelona is a super-club, like Manchester United. If a formal offer is tabled I'll need to study it calmly. "Nobody at United has told me I'm not wanted next season. I know the rumours of transfer offers have appeared, but that's not a problem for me. "I have just enjoyed one of the best years in my career. We have played sensationally, although it was a pain to fail in the Champions League semi-final against Milan." |

Queiroz hopes for Fergie's job Carlos Queiroz admits he hopes to replace Sir Alex Ferguson as Manchester United manager and has warned Chelsea of further suffering next season. United denied Chelsea a Premiership title hat-trick last term and Queiroz is keen to ensure the champions can build on the success. With three big signings already added to the Old Trafford squad, United's assistant manager is targeting a clean sweep of trophies. "We want to go for everything next season," Queiroz told the People. "We always want the maximum. "I want the league and Champions League. We came close this season, so we have to take advantage of that experience to try again next season. "Chelsea suffered last season in the league. We have shown that we have a better squad than Chelsea and that is why we won the league. "And now we have strengthened our side even more with the arrival of Nani and Anderson. If each one gives us half as much as Cristiano Ronaldo is giving us then we will be more than satisfied." Regarding his own future, Queiroz revealed his wish to succeed Ferguson at Old Trafford when the Scot eventually decides to retire. The Portuguese added: "With just a few changes to the side we are prepared to be champions again. "Sir Alex Ferguson still has a great desire, even more so after winning the title. He wants to go one step at a time and has no set date for his goodbye. At the moment it is ruled out. "I am learning every day at this club. It is not up to me, but it is logical that I would like to be one day the manager of Manchester United." http://home.skysports.com/list.aspx?hlid=471099&CPID=8&clid=1&lid=&title=Queiroz+hopes+for+Fergie's+job&channel=& |
