LONDON, Sept 12 (Reuters) - A man admitted in court on Wednesday that he had attacked Sir Alex Ferguson, manager of Manchester United football club, at a railway station.
Kevin Reynolds, 43, of no fixed address, assaulted Ferguson at London's Euston station on Monday, causing minor injuries to his leg.
He also admitted head-butting a community police officer who was trying to restrain him.
The magistrate described Reynolds as a violent drunk.
Ferguson was reported to have been travelling to a private engagement.
Reynolds pleaded guilty to actual bodily harm, assault and two public order offences, at City of Westminster Magistrates' court.
He was remanded in custody and will appear at a date to be fixed at Southwark Crown Court for sentencing.
