Martins301: Please house is it true that you can't report to camp before 5th August? Or is it possible to report in camp before August 5th, noting however that you have your call up letter?

You can report to camp. But someone said you won't be allowed in. Camp opens officially August 5th. As for me, August 1st, I don dey camp gate. grin

NYSC state amount(states and monthly state allowance paid).
Apart from the N19,800 that the federal govt would pay you monthly,the state you would be serving might also be paying you allowances monthly.Here is a list of how much each state pays:
Oyo - 3800/4000
Osun - 5000
Kano - 4000
Kwara-0000
Abuja - 0000
Borno - 1000(even if na 100,000 corpers go greee serve grin

)
Yobe - 2500
Nasarrawa - 4000
Bauchi - 1250
Edo - 0000
Ogun - 5000
Enugu - 10000
Ekiti - 5000
Bayelsa - 3000/4000/5000
Delta - 5000
Rivers - 5000-10000(depending on ur location/ppa)
Cross River - 4000
Taraba - 10,000
Imo - 0000
Abia - 5000
Zamfara - 3000
Ebonyi - 5000
Jigawa - 5000
Akwa Ibom - 7000
Sokoto - 4000
Katsina - 2000
Kebbi - 2000
Kogi - 1250
Anambra - 5800
Gombe - 1000
Niger - 4000.
Lagos- 15000.( Only 2 som selected/lucky corpers)
Pls note that this amount may not be fix and could be changed by the state govt without consulting you.
Also it may not be regularly paid..the above amount is 95% real..

Go to your bank and ask for the depositors details. Call her and discuss ways of refunding the money. If the bank can't give you the details, tell them the money isn't yours and was deposited into your account mistakenly. They should know how to track the depositor and refund her money.

If memory serves me correctly we were told there's either 2000 or 4000 corpers in kubwa camp! We were also told a lot of people slept on the ground with mattress ! While there was just over 500 of us in keffi camp! Am not aware of Kaduna seems unlikely that's to far!

*I heard Abuja camp is marginally of low capacity as a result corpers are sent to Kaduna or Nasarawa to camp....hw's true is that?
*If true, which of the camp is better off in terms of facilities and fun wise?
*Central Business District (CBD).....hw close is it to Boko Haram dominated territory in FCT?
And finally...hw's accomodation like around CBD?

. Facilities hmm! I did happen to enter kubwa camp while it was IN SESSION the only difference I noticed was sharwama basically better food options they also had an atm! Was expecting to stumble across some creamy foreign corpers only to be told 70 percent of them took leave either sick leave or outright didn't show up! That sole factor took away all the fun I was expecting in kubwa camp! Keffi toilet facilutes better than kubwa but there all disgraceful befiting of only pigs! As for Accommodation 400k should do you in CBD 4 a self con/gate house! Well the last bombing was in the heart of town! But usually it's in the outskirts a good 30mins away!
