Jimwalex:welcome to one of the highest paying states. You will get #10,000 as state allawee excluding kerosine allowance. You will also enjoy environment different from what is obtainable in the North Eastern state. You can port to Cameroun as you like but stay away from Sambisa forest axis. May God continue to guide and guard you. . Hajia Heemah and sir Valentinooo, good to hear; welcome to mallam Ribadu and former Vice president Atiku's state (though you might not go there if you redeploy from camp) you can redeploy on the security ground. Wishing you all a safe trip to and fro your state of camping. . Funpeter sir, I have modified the earlier post; please check it again. Good to know that you are part of the "One Big and Happy family" of God. State rural rugged should be loading now. Remember, if its not rural, it cant be rugged. |

holutosin: Posted to Plateau. Any info abt the state will be appreciated. Plateau state is a nice place, though the state govt doesn't pay corp members. The camp is very new and Ʋ'll enjoy it. The weather could get very cold, so might consider getting some cold clothing. Cost of living is cheap, a lot of vvegetables, cheap potatoe and its kind. The people are welcoming. Though there are no go zones. U'll be very fine if u stay outta the 'no go zones'. Don't worry, ur PPA won't be in those zones. Any specific question I would love to answer. |

Corpers weee ooo.. For those posted to Benue State, congratulations.. I'm serving there now, 2013 Batch C. Hmmmmm... Makurdi is hot and expensive, like any other city. Security? Relatively safe. There is enough food at the rural areas. The Tivs have more foods, though. The HIV threat is still there; exercise general caution in this regard. The camp is at Wannune, Tarka LGA. There are transporters to take you there from Makurdi. The charge shouldn't be more than N300.00. Wannune's temperature is extreme - extremely cold at night and in the mornings and very hot at day. Water? Unless the situation is better now; at our time, it was a scarce commodity. You can buy water at the Mami market at the rate of N20.00 per bucket or so. The rains would help here though. Please be prepared to be a Mountain Climber if you are to serve here. The topography here is hilly particularly at the rural areas. Be careful. Come with an open mind. Here no be your house, there must be discomfort. Do not cry. It's a privilege to serve as many are itching for it. Anya kro..anya wene-wene..(Benue's Idoma Language).. Journey safely...  1 Like |
