With a deep sense of solidarity, I associate with my fellow #teamNAIRALANDER at this time. I crave your distinguished indulgence to borrow the structure of President Benjamin Asher speech to say;

We have lost many members, great articles, invaluable information, wonderful replies, beautiful literatures, juicy and thought provoking diaries, good topics, everyone of them and many other online treasures. Our hearts and solidarity go out to their owners, writers, original posters and handlers as the case may be. And they will be remembered. Nor will we forget those who serve out of the spotlight to #BringBackOurNairaland, to whom we owe our highest gratitude.

Our foe did not come only to destroy our online treasures or our voices, they came to desecrate our way of life. To stop us from airing our various sincere opinions and beliefs. Trample our freedom of association and that of speech. And in this, not only did they fail, they granted us the greatest gift - a chance at our rebirth.

Nairaland will rise renewed, stronger, and united. This is our time. Our chance to get back to the best of who we are. To lead the online world by example with the dignity, freedom, integrity, and honour that built this forum. And which will build it once again. Ahmandla Awethu!
