just rename the recovery file to "recovery.img", paste it in the root of your SD card "i.e sdcard/", go to mobile uncle, click recovery update, tap the recovery.img then allow to flash and reboot to recovery.... its as easy as it sounds

try that, if it doesn't work then I'll give you are the recovery toolz method

Tried dt more than 1s with cwm, ctr, recovery but nothing works. Swisscarter advised i use recovery tools. Is there any particular procedure for this new method? I'm already downloading recovery tools from play store.

It did...Rashr tool took up 1.33gb of the internal storage. I uninstalled it. Hope it won't consequence! What's ur advice swisscarter?

I think it did coz i the recovery interface had a cwm signature on it n i was able to select options by via screen touch. No 1 said anything about ROM backup. Didn't know. Hope i've not messed things up?

everything is OK, just uninstall rashr tools, and reboot to recovery via mobile uncle anytime you want to go to the recovery menu.... also go to backup, and do a full backup of your ROM, in case it gets bricked, you'll just have to restore backup

go to setting > storage, change preferred installation to SD card... it should work now

from the recovery menu, the backup would be in sdcard/clockworkmod/backup... size is between 1.5gb - 3gb depending on your apps

Bro... I did all u said i should but the backup ended up in the internal phone storage so i just cut the entire cwm folder 2 sdcard. Hope i'm good on dt?

I made a port of MIUI V5 for the great Tecno F5.

Bugs:
Second SIM doesn't work
Lowest brightness setting switches screen off!!
Some apps settings menu force the app to close.

Someone help me fix these then I'll post it for all of you, bug free. ;-)
