A young Pakistani couple was tied up and had their throats slit-by the bride’s family, no less-because they married each other for love. Police said on Saturday that the 17-year-old woman and 31-year-old man in the eastern Pakistan’s Punjabi village of Satrah married without their families’ permission. Just over a week after their June 18 wedding, the bride’s parents tricked them into visiting with the promise their marriage would receive a blessing.
