You can bet that the unfavorable opinions of these terrorist groups are coming mostly from Christians and a few moderate Muslims like Dangote (hopefully he is not secretly funding them) and Atiku. What we see in Nairaland also supports the perception that many Nigerian Muslims support terrorism.

Those figures just represent the vocal supporters and form just a tip of the iceberg.

I am yet to come across a northern Muslim who has come all out to condemn Boko Haram or any other Islamic Terror group.

The reason are simple but complicated at the same time and lie within the bedrock of Islamic arrogance of dominating other peoples.

Just as Christians look forward to the coming of Christs so also do 99.9% of Muslims look foward to a final holy war that will usher in a monothestic world faith based on Islamic rule.
