She is the biggest American Idol earner with over 16 million albums sold and over 30 million singles. Her 2012 album became the second top selling album that year. Underwood has also ventured into acting as well. She made her film debut in 2011′s Soul Suffer alongside Helen Hunt. She starred in NBC’s The Sound of Music Live! Time listed the blonde beauty in the icon’s category as one of the most influential people in the world.

Jennifer Hudson was a finalist on the third cycle of American Idol and came in at seventh place. Some have referred to the stars rise to fame as a ‘Cinderella story’. It started as the role of a lifetime on the hit movie Dream girls, where she starred opposite Eddie Murphy and Jamie Foxx. The role earned her an Academy Award and other countless accolades. She swept through award season following the release of the film, and has since starred in a number of films. She has released two albums thus far and is gearing up for her third. The Grammy winner always received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last year.
