Recent estimates by international maritime experts suggest that pirates have made away with a whopping $30 million from more than a score hijackings this year alone. the same report says that the pirates are 50% more likely to succeed than to fail when they embark on a mission. this certainly spells doom for a nation which has been without a central government since 1991.
