No doubt The Fresh Prince of Bel Air is one of the most successful timeless sitcom ever produced. Embellished with effortless humor, creative storyline and an engaging depth in each episode alongside the exceptionally catchy theme song, it was definitely bound to gain massive reception. Amazingly the sitcom which began airing in 1990 still holds that magnetic aura about it today.

Each storyline is creatively garnished with easy humor and a message to be passed across. The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’s plot revolves around the protagonist- Will Smith who stars as a fictionalized version of himself. The story is built around Will the hyper active outgoing young bloke who grew up in the streets of Philadelphia. He was your regular kid but somehow along the line clashed with some neighbourhood bullies at the basketball court, and that’s when his mother (trying to avoid a reoccurrence,) sends him to his uncle in Bel Air.

Now this was the beginning of Will Smith’s adventures - imagine the surprise he feels after living in the slums all his life to realize he has a super rich uncle with a cool mansion to cruise in- Boy, was he glad. Born with a relatable personality and sometimes annoying humor, Will blends into the family “a little bit too much.”
