If you consider the aftermath of Obama's election, only Iraq was in serious trouble. Today virtually all of the middle East is burning, long time allies that had stopped the emergency of Islamic groups have be deposed off, Israel-U.S. relations are at an all time low, Ukraine is burning and the Russian-U.S. relations has slipped to cold war levels. The signals began early in his Presidency.
Obama's first global introduction was not to the U.S. traditional allies or stage such as the UN, EU, NATO or even to the AU which gave him much moral support from black Africans but Obama started his introduction in Cairo in an address to the Arab/Muslim world where he apologized to them for U.S. past actions.

A common ,albeit silly, question asked then was , 'is America ready f a black president"? I personally don'tthink so , and dis latest poll may just be a reflection of that.
