there've been several debates about the durability of Korean cars on Nairaland.

I happened to stumble on a US car rating website that uses criteria like:
1. Performance
2. Interior Design
3. Exterior Design
4. Safety
5. Reliability

to classify various brands of cars.

This link is for affordable small cars like Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic etc

It amazes me to see these Korean cars doing so well, while the likes of Toyota Corolla ranks 17th behind most of these so-called fragile Korean cars.

Brief comments/ suggestions/ contributions please.

Dont confuse a snapshot when new to "long-term" snapshot in terms of reliability, resale value etc. The corolla and civic are still the king any day. If you as an investor wants to bet your $$ on a car that can guarantee a good resale value in 2yrs. Where would you put ur money?

A 2003/2004 corolla still sells for up to 2mill. That explains things.
