Requirements
Must be an experience person to be able to fill in this position
Must have appropriate behaviour when working one-to-one with students
No record of conviction for any crime of violence
Regular, on-time attendance; notification of planned absences
Positive response to reasonable needs and requests by students
Return of any borrowed materials on a timely basis
An enthusiasm for education and learning

Position Description

As a mindsetter tutor, you will help students use reading, writing, and math skills to meet their own educational goals. Our tutors also offer encouragement and support, helping students develop confidence and positive attitudes about learning. Tutors review any work done independently by the student and help keep records of each student’s progress. Patience, promptness, the ability to relate well to a variety of people and a sense of humor are as important as good reading and writing skills.

One-to-one tutoring opportunities are available. We ask for a commitment of 1 to 4 hours per day depending on the parent or guidance requirement
