Nice entertaining play from the Germans. The Dutch, however, are still lifting the trophy come Sunday. They've maintained an excellent consistency, pace and determination throughout the tournament and haven't lost a match. This is my prediction.. 2 Likes |

Ceasar1: The thing is Germany are just lucky today. Remember, they struggled against teams with better team work, like Ghana, USA, Algeria and France. Their performances in those matches was even criticized. Esp against Algeria. I concur. It was a fluke due to lack of organisation, weak mentality, and lack of leadership. Though, Germany is one of my traditional teams, with Brazil and the Dutch. However, as a loyal football fan, I'm utter sad about the result, just like everyone who adores the beautiful game around the world. Darn! Not Brazil - despite their antics and below average performances at this tournament. It might be a blessing in disguise and time for a re-birth of Brazilian football, from the scratch again. Hopefully, the Dutch will make it an all-European final, and break the continental jinx between the two powerhouses, with an European team winning it all on South American soil, for the first time. The final will be a cracker regardless of who qualifies between the two teams playing tomorrow. Messi and Mascherano should also watch it, if they make the final, since they already lost Di Maria. 1 Like |
