The South African Football Association has again denied making any job offer to Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi. This was contained in a statement by SAFAon Monday. “Reports coming through and carried out by several media outlets are quoting Mr Keshi alleging he has an offer on the table from SAFA,” read the SAFA statement from its President, Danny Jordaan,on Monday. “There is no iota of truth in this statement. SAFA has not offered any coach the Bafana Bafana coaching job and we don’t take kindly to such rumours. “It is not true because SAFA has not entered into a discussion with any coach or a representative of any coach.” Keshi has stated several times that he had received an offer from SAFA to take over from Gordon Igesund, whose contract expires at the end of August. http://www.punchng.com/news/we-dont-have-any-job-for-keshi-safa/ |

I don't blame them, after seeing the mediocre at the world cup, who will want to hire him. Except you are short sighted and just want to succeed on the African scene. But I'd you want more, he's not the man for that. 1 Like |

Keshi is just too proud. he's good but too proud.it's pride that made him resign after afcon, he wants to be begged. it's pride that made him to keep players like osaze and uche from his first list. it's pride that made him blame osaze after the iran match, it's pride that made him resign after this world cup. he's good but too proud. he's right but too proud. if only he can put personal differences aside, he'll build a team strong enough to crush any opponent. 1 Like |
