obinoscopy is a coinage of two words:

Obino and Scopy.

Obino is from my name while Scopy is from a greek word that means "to study." So, in effect, my name means the study of my name. There's however another school of thought that the word Scopy was affixed to my name due to my way with words, esp with the female folks.

The name was coined, not by me, but by my friends back then in school during my university days. The name became so popular that it overshadowed my real name! Luckily for me, I was able to have my real name back after school. But I still use either obinoscopy or scopy as my username in the various social media.
