Clement Chirman, the National Publicity Secretary of the Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), has confirmed that the body has called off its 10-month-old strike. The strike which began in October last year, was suspended during the National Executive Council (NEC) meeting of the union held on Saturday morning. |
