A) Although the check light on the dashboard is off. It may NOT really mean that there is no fault with the ride. It could be that the check light was temporarily turned off so that you will not suspect any foul play. The check light on the dashboard will normally reappear after a very good test drive.

B) You have test driven the ride and you noticed the yellow check light on the dashboard is on. It does NOT necessarily mean that the engine is bad. It could mean an outright malfunctioning of some components (e.g. sensors) or that they are not performing optimally and they need to be changed.

Before you seal the deal, ensure you do a diagnostic test with a scanning device
