We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Executive to join a growing practice based in Lagos. The Business Development Executive will drive specific marketing and business development initiatives, which use the full marketing mix to raise and maintain awareness of their company’s services and products.

Activities include:

• Seeking new customers and liaising with existing customers.
• Identify which are the most appropriate clients for growth and develop plans accordingly.
• Identify new markets
• Devising and executing plans for business growth.
• Aggressively develop and follow up new business leads
• Meet specific Business revenue targets on a quarterly and yearly basis
• Assisting with the development and preparation of annual business plans, budget proposals in business development programmes
• Full event management and delivery
• Client development – research, bids and panel pitches, presentations
• Corporate communications – social media, internal comms and consistent branding
• Business Development systems – using the CRM system InterAction, updating and maintaining the database
• Client Service Management

Requirements include:

• The successful candidate will have all-round marketing and business development experience
• Relevant experience within the professional services sector (consulting, tech startup, law firm, software development coy, Advertising agencies etc)
• You will possess the ability to manage expectations, have good attention to detail with strong written and oral communication skills.
• You will have a relevant degree and/or professionally recognised marketing or communications qualification. Strong understanding of business and management will be an added advantage
