Overall responsibility
To deliver training packages in a total of 16 Subjects, Carry out Practical and Theoretical Training, Mentoring and Assessments.

Key areas of responsibility

 Facilitate and carry out internal and external training programs to defined structure.

 Maintain standards of professional practice.

 Encourage and show a duty of care to all students.

 Deliver training and development sessions which satisfy clearly defined learning needs including appropriate learning methods.

 Encourage Individual Learning through clear communication of learning points.

 Deliver and comply with all Health and Safety procedures and relevant legislation.

 Deliver information to diverse audiences, ensuring to use appropriate communication style

 Deliver and revise presentations.

 Recognize and initially deal with any student welfare issues.

 Ensure all equipment is fully serviceable, maintained and inspected prior to any usage.

 Promote equality diversity and human rights by developing and maintaining positive and working relationships in the workplace.

 Ensure all assessments are carried in a fair unbiased neutral manner, safely.

 Ensure personal standards are met implementing all health and safety regulations and following workplace procedures.

Experience/Skills

In addition to possessing a degree (BSc, HND):

• The candidate must have five years minimum experience in Plant machinery operations, crane operations.

• The candidate must be outgoing, confident, with good organizational skills, he must be flexible, able to travel, have good oratory skills, be a team player and have some experience of a training background.

• Experience in operating dozers, graders, wheeled loading shovels, 180 backactor, 360 excavator tracked or wheeled, ride on roller, dumper, forward and rear tipping dumper, HIAB, forklift truck etc. preferable.

• Experience on Crane Operations/supervision, slinger signaler, lifting accessories.

• Knowledge of vehicle husbandry, vehicle maintenance required.

• IT skills preferable, such as Microsoft word, PowerPoint, excel.
