Why are igbos and yorubas representing places like Nassarawa, Kano (who have really beautiful hausa ladies), katsina, Bayelsa though. I think peoples real roots should be put into consideration before allowing them represent a state. And Mrs Ogun, mehn, we have better looking ladies though.

Because most Nigerians, really, are very conservative. The girls you see here are those whose parents have agreed.

Most Nigerians idea of a good girl is one who is preparing to enter hubby's house....as such must be modest, quiet ,and most importantly must DRESS PROPERLY!

(Educational qualifications also desirable).

joyousf: Its interesting that at least from the names it looks like people that are not from a state are representing the state, ibos and yorubas representing hausa states and so on.

and Abuja no get trad attire? how about that of the Gwari people, the original settlers of Abuja smiley

Dem don displace dem. Now Abuja na no mans land. Na to mix all naija atire take form abuja own,Aso Oke gele from yoruba, corals from southern part, etc etc take form abuja.

Then they shouldnt be represented then, waters down the whole essence of showcasing varying ethnic beauties. Everyone know igbos have many pretty girls but few know adamawa has more pretty girls, sadly that wont be showcased... I really dont see the point of repping somewhere u aint.
