If u're talking bout cars like Kia Rio, ppicanto, accent, elantra, cerato, and it's likes, then u're right. But if u're talking bout real cars, u're totally wrong.

Do you think those that buy used cars dont like to own new ones?

How many people can afford to pay over 3m for a brand new corolla or civic? or how many people in this nation can pay up to even 1m for a picanto? Even in developed nations, some people still buy used vehicles.

So, there is nothing wrong in buying what your pocket can accomodate.

Also note that some others will rather invest money in more worthwhile projects than in driving new cars about on our terrible roads.

guys i apreciate ur getsure but don't u think these guys selling used cars are too exploitative, and u can equally get new cars and yet u will still be paying instalmentally.for God sake these guys are not adding value to us, they should join there colleague in marketing new cars

Why are you posting something like this? Until the prices of new cars are reasonable in Nigeria will I consider buying them. I have bought one before and that is it. Look, it is the marketers of brand new cars that are exploitative, not used cars. Dude do you even know how much new cars go for in this country? I would rather buy a new car from the US and still save money compared to a new car here.

Even those abroad buy used cars. Its a whole industry because not everyone wants to take a hit on depreciation. There is great value in used cars and you can pay instrumentally on them too. Left to your logic, everyone should get new houses too and not buy used since you can get a mortgage on new homes.

There is no exploitation, be it new or used cars, rather competition and that is good for consumers. It is important to note that Nija is a unique beast when it comes to doing business, there are too many issues our Government need to address, such as lack of power, exorbitant clearing rates, etc. These issues are what impacts on the immediate pricing to consumers.

Are u sure u know wetin u dey talk, which kin cars are u talkin about, u must be talkin about those crappy cars , if i want to drive a solid and sensible car, and I cant afford a brand new, why wouldnt i pay for used, even if i can get some other brand of cars as new and way cheaper, i rather drive a Used Toyota, Honda or Benz than drive a brand new Kia or whatever, an 2004 Toyota, Honda would out live a brand new Kia brand or wetin be this new one wey dem dey sell now, CHERRY, u get am,
