NIPOST demands N500 handling charge on a $20 item I Bought online. How justified is this. Is it not another Nigerian extortion. What's your experience.

I also paid such amount for each product I received through Nipost.
Nigeria only subsidized PMS for us while other services are just a money making avenue.

Goods that ate shipped for free from China to Nigeria & here we pay N500 for some goods that only worth N2,500...Mehn that's a real fraud from Nipost.

Same thing happened to me and in some instances I had to pay more. Funny enough, the person sending it already covered all the charges and I was still asked to pay

No single system in this country works. Quite pathetic

Oh! Thought I was the only one that was being charged N500 just to collect my item. Though I only noticed the charges in this month of August and thought it was a way my Nipost branch wanted to extort money from me.
