The 2014 FIFA U-20 Women's World Cup will be the 7th edition of the tournament. It will be held in Canada, which was named the host nation for the tournament in conjunction with its successful bid for the 2015 FIFA Women's World Cup. Canada will become the first country to stage this tournament twice, after hosting the inaugural edition in 2002. Sixteen teams (from six confederations) have qualified for this year's tournament which will take place from 5th August to 24th August, 2014 The Super Falconets are not left out either, and will be hoping to go one better than thier predecessors did in 2010 when they came 2nd, behnd Germany, who won the title that year. In July, all Nigeria teams became subject of a FIFA ban due to government interference with the national football association. The ban was lifted about ten days later, which made the Falconets eligible for this tournament. Here are the groups and how the matches will be played 1 Like |
