Brazil is a very interesting country; most of the news and impression most of us ( africans) have about Brazil isnt the true reflection of what is going on there.

I find the place to be a nice decent country, with so so much potentials for business minded people.

back to your question, there are only about 10,000 Nigerians in Brazil, and i can tell you about 7,000 of them are in Sao Paulo, the others are in other states, mostly studying .

You need to speak Portugese to survive in Brazil, the weather is similar to 9ja weather, everything in brazil is expensive, so ensure you buy all you will need to survive for sometime.

If you give me more details on your plan in brazil, i might be able to hook you up with some few pple i met there, doing legitimate businesses

@degia so without Portuguese it will be to hard for one to survive? And what can one do in Brazil? I love that country if not for language barrier.
Re: Good City To Live In Brazil by Nobody: 8:37am On Jul 28, 2014
^^^without Portuguese, you will have difficulties getting by in any city in the country. anyone better have a sound plan before coming to Brasil, if not you will only become a meal for amazon animals, lol!

@OP
Rio and Sao Paulo are THE most expensive cities in South America, that should tell you about the place...... therefore you better come prepared or you will quickly be living on the streets like the millions out here. you are very lucky if you get R$40 a day doing menial jobs, and with that amount, you will barely pay for your rent and food.

you MUST have a plan, just the love of Brasil is not enough. as for meeting your fellow 9ja, i've spent closed to 3 yrs in Brasil (Rio), i met 2 Nigerians living here.

I hope you know that you cant change tourist visa to a resident visa, you can only extedn tourist visa for three months more, after that you should go back.
Re: Good City To Live In Brazil by ibe003(m): 9:45am On Aug 01, 2014
I know of that, they don't easily give other visa except tourist visa, so that one no matter, despite any thing 9ja man must survive. We know how to deal with such fucking countries
Re: Good City To Live In Brazil by ibe003(m): 9:47am On Aug 01, 2014

peace of what?! pls, for the fun of it, tell me how would you invest €50K in 9ja, and have peace of mind?

you talk of peace of mind and yet want to give 2-3 Brazilian women belle? so going to a country with no money and having children while you will be hustling to survive, is your idea of peace of mind?! you will end up in jail in no time and this is a sure way to die of high blood pressure or any stress related illnesses.

obviously you dont know Brazilian women.

there is no reason for you to try to educate this clueless guy who daydream about traveling out of Nigeria, byt yet is playing big man on a faceless forum (while we can clearly see from his posts on NL that he lives in 9ja and is desperate to leave ANYWHERE). with such backward mentality then no wonder he will never discover the beauty of Brasil, or any other country for that matter.

the guy is crazy about Brasil, has opened 4thread on the subject in 10days, clearly stated that this is the best country in the world for him....... but yet now talks nonsense about Brazil. here are some of his posts:

@mrbrownjay I made that exaggerating comment when every body in the house are making fun of brazil performance in last world cup, you are an idiot and will remain and idiot, I never been in brazil but will just visit there, just to see what people are talking about brazil, when I started flying abroad your are still rolling like slowpoke in Nigeria, I am not making boost of it because all fingers are not the same, I still have UK multiple entry visa in my passport, I went to UK to visit my family and spend only 2 month and come back, I only travel abroad only visit, I have reasonable bizz here in Nigeria which I can not live and reside abroad,

Oh, so you are not only naive but violent too?

Are you climaxing when you made that foo.lish statement on how you will pregnate chicks just to get your residence? if you have a business, why going to Brazil to spread your s.emen on innocent girls who will fall prey to your black-hearted agenda?

you keep yapping about having multiple visa, it further shows your level of reasoning and what you deem as achievement, visiting UK for a month and having multiple visa is a fulfilment in your book abi? you are simply naive, arrogant, violent and an emotional man.

Cool down jare, men wey de fly around the world de calm down, you de there de shout just because of multiple visa wey you get, nonsense sad

sadly, failure is the only way people like the OP can learn......but then again, when dreams are the only thing that someone has going for them, i understand why it is difficult to accept that they may never accomplish it.

@mrbrownjay you said you have spent 3 years in rio de jenero so that means if you go to London you gonna spend all your life there, who now how you manage remain there, that is how you guy will be living as illegal immigrant in another mans land, I my get brazil visa next week and live it to expire, to show you guy that I am not abroad despretdo, if i may go I will not spend a month just to flex and come back, motherfuckers

the problem with people like you is that you believe that everybody is as desperate and/or suffering as you do...... if you had spent enough time on NL, you would have known that i had already lived in the UK, and that the grey and boring UK weather is certainly not my cup of tea.
the difference between you and I is that i can travel to wherever i desire in this world.

btw it's Rio de JANEIRO, not jenero.....if you want to move somewhere at least learn the basics.

Instead of living as illegal immigrant in poor brazil just take your time and enter inside their ghetto let me know if you will still come here and be rolling your smelling mouth, If i want to live permanent in abroad is either UK canada or USA but I believe in my country I like investing in 9ija as big as dangote and adenuga they still base here in nigeria only fly any were they like and come back. I have visited UK, travel twice to dubai for my bizz they are nice country but no place like home

^^^i can feel you are very bitter with your life..... pele o! you are making too many assumptions here and that is even more sad.
pls dont hurt yourself because of me, we dont know each other and probably will never meet in this world. we can clearly see that you have never left the shores of Nigeria if your idea of the best country in the world is the UK. sadly, i have never lived in Nigeria, i have never held a Nigerian passport, and YES, i will rather live anywhere in the civilized world than in the grey and boring UK, bloody cold Canada or the US (apart from maybe Miami or LA).

here is 3 country where i have lived that are better (IMHO) than the 3 places you mentionned:
1) Australia
2) Brazil
3) Denmark/Norway

also never forget that visiting a place on holiday is completely different than living there, so rest assure that if ever you get to live in the UK/US, you may have a totally different view of the place.

Bro, I have been following this thread carefully. Ibe003 has little knowledge about life outside Nigeria shores, but I had to comment when I saw Denmark/Norway on your list.. I have been to some scandinavia countries, believe me UK is far more better than them in terms of social life and living a happy life. Norway is hell boring. How many days of summer do they have? Its dark almost all the time in winter, and winter is so long. Suicide rate is high because of depression. Alcoholic beverages are so expensive compared to western europe. But you lived there, I visited, maybe there's something I am missing out on anyway

you are absolutely right about Scandinavia, but again bro, it all comes down to what is important to us all, and what you regard as better.
- SAFETY is much better in Norway, as crime in the UK is a plague. would you rather raise children in a crime infested country or a "safe haven" like Norway?

- SOCIAL LIFE in Norway is "different", but certainly not worse. if you speak Norsk, you will meet the right people and hang in the right places. the majority party at home before going out and you need to find your own crew to socialise. you can go out and have fun most days of the week and Scandinavian really let go on the weekend. Alcohol is expensive, and certainly should be, so that less kids will have access to it. alcoholism is a PLAGUE in the UK thanks to cheap booze and the pub culture. here is something to also consider about Norway, better healthy people, better air, better scenery.

- ECONOMY with less unemployment, higher salaries, a shorter working week(37.5hrs), and 5 weeks of holiday per year (compared to 4 in the UK), Norway wins this one with flying colors.

- DAYS OF SUMMER Norway dont have a lot, possibly 3months max, but i am sorry to say that the UK aint better on that note..... whats the point of having "days of summer" if the weather is grey and rainy anyway? the UK dont have a proper summer.
yes you are right, during the winter, it can be dark pretty early, but you have to remember that in the summer it is daylight almost constantly.
also, Scandinavia is the best places to enjoy winter sports activities, and its cheap, i never learn about the joy of snowboarding until i lived to Norway.

- SUICIDE RATE so far as i know, the suicide rate in Norway is the same as in the UK, but here is what is important: i'd rather the suicide rate be high and the crime rate low than the other way around. you see, suicide i can control, crime i cant. so if i had to choose, i will always go for the high suicide rate with the lower crime rate.
source ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_suicide_rate ).

so i am safe to say that someone who wants to make money has more chance to succeed in Norway than in the UK; a man that wants to find a job has more chances in Norway than in the UK; a man who wants to work LESS to earn MORE better move to Norway, and with less crime, someone who wants the peace of mind to raise his family better go to Norway.

..... but again these are just my views and it's ok for us to have different experiences in these countries. the catch is to at least go there and then have an opinion about these places, unlike Ibe003
