Virus is carried by the fruit bat.
Transmission is by contact; may be transmitted sexually in infected survivors up to 2 months after infection
No vaccine exists
Therapy is mostly supportive
Mortality rate is 50% - -90%
Average time to death from infection is 13days, could be as long as 25 days.
Things to do
