A typical bank branch has a staff strenght of about 50-100 workers.On average, each branch could welcome over 300 customers into their banking hall daily and well over 500 customers could as well use their ATM machines daily!So how do you harness this potentials for your corporate fruit selling business?

First things first actually.Make up your mind if you really desire to become a corporate fruit seller.Then follow the steps in part 2,of this PROJECT FAST FRUIT SERIES.Take note that if you do not have the finance needed to get a stand ready,that you can still successfully do the business.The purpose of getting a standing is help your customers easily identify or locate you when ever the need your services and at the same time to associate themselves to your brand.

Here are the basic steps to take in addition to those mentioned in part 2 of my post of project fast fruit:

11.Sit down and write a powerful letter of introduction for your business,using your well designed letterheaded document.state your name,business details and the services you render.state the reasons for introducing your service to the company or establishment.mention every thing you need to mention but never exceed one page.address the letter to the manager of the establishment.
12.get an envelop and put your letter inside it.also put your handbills inside the envelop.seal it up and address the envelop to the manager of the establishment you wish to do business with.
13.pray and ask for Gods blessing on your plans
14.go look for your bank manager,your child's school proprietor and your church pastor.if officials of your bank try to deny you access to the bank manager,politely stand your ground because you own an account with them.insist on seeing the manager or the next best person who can approve your plans to do business with your bank.be polite,respectful and drop your letter of introduction with the dude.
15,if your letter of introduction makes a whole lot of sense and your packaging or branding work is tight,you are likely going to get a positive response because lots of people come to supply the same banks meals,and other services daily!
16.tell the individual your desire to sign up members of staff interested in ordering fresh chilled fruits and juices,so you can bring them their orders at specially agreed times of the day.
17.dont fail to ask for permission to discreetly court the banks ATM users from afar with your services when they are queing up for ATM usage.if the banks permits you,which they are likely going to,then you are already in business.
18.ask for permission to have an audience with the bank staff during those times of the week they do meetings.dont talk too much once you have an audience with the banks staff,quickly distribute your handbills and briefly explain what you do and why you are here.tell them you would like them to indicate interest if they want you to bring them such fruits.try to get them to sign up.of course if you are smart,you will need to give them a taste of your services by distributing some free fruits packages to those who gave you audience to speak with them.surely,they will love it!

(if God blesses you,the bank could in the long run give you contract to supply the branch with your services if they like it,so that once a while or regularly all workers from the branch can enjoy your services.)

if the response you got was positive,go home and plan your business model very well.go to the market and buy transparent disposable cups suitable for serving juice drinks,take away plates for serving slices chilled fruits and knives or cutleries for handling your fruits.if you dont have a refregerator,dont worry.get coolers and go get ice blocks from commercial ice block makers.get gloves,detergents,sponges and buckets for water storage.visit fruit markets and purchase those you think you can sell faster.since its a new business,always supply less products to your target destination.if response is positive,you can up your supply of such freash fruits to your destination.

dont wait till you get orders from the bank workers before you hit the bank with your services.no.just get your act(depending on the fruit, you can put the washed raw fruits inside a cooler,add water and iceblock to it and seal it or you can prepare the fruits into take away plates,cover them and break ice blocks into the cooler to keep the fruits chilled.this means that the fruits have already been chilled before been sliced and packaged into take away plates) clean water together and bring your packaged fruits to the area you have chosen for your biz.then in the morning, go in to the bank and advertise yourn services so that,you can recieve orders from workers readying for lunch or interested in freshing themselves up.go into the bank again at noon if permitted just to show your face,to scout for new customers.hussle for customer like a bank marketer does.stroll in regularly especially on those using the banks ATM machine in the hot sun!some staff may recognize you and ask you to supply them with some of the varieties you have.never be discouraged,be well packaged and be resilient.if you have money,get a tshirt costumized that reads at the back and front:MANDYS FRUITS OR JENNY FRUIT CITY.Get a face cap branded in the same way,so that you on your own will become a walking advert and reminder to workers of the bank each time you come around.take note,you dont have to wear your branded tshirt from home,you can do so when you get to your target destination of doing your corporate fruit selling business.

hang around the bank and its ATM users long enough everyday,and before you know it,your biz will pick up steam!

remember that a friendly personality can get you more results when vending anything to potential customers.if you have a fruit stand near the banks premises or school or church,the better for you.it makes your business more grounded and easily patronized by everyone around.

after making your supply to a bank,if you are strong,go off to the big time private you hooked and also make supplies to them.on sundays,church days,you can hang around a church you have selected with the same goal of offering your services to the worshippers in that church.

as far as a church is concerned you dont need kiosk or shop to sell your fruits to her worshippers.all you need is a cool spot,with some degree of protection from sunlight and your coolers to sell what you have got to her members.

you need only 50people everyday or even less to earn you 5k daily from vending fruits to your bank staff,ATM users,your child school and your church.If you opt to supply your bank and get a stand nearby,you will make more money.the same thing applies if you supply your childs school with assorted chilled slice fruits and juices,during their break period.as for your church,if you are well positioned in the environs,expect to come in contact with kids and their parents who will be interested in patronising you.

so on a daily basis,depending on your price and your packaging, you can make sales to more than 50 individuals around your bank,your child school or on sundays at the church!dont over price your packaged fruits so you scare aways customers.A price of N100 to N500 is okay demanding the type of fruit,pieces of sliced fruit, packaging materials and other things that go into it.so if you sell for N100 say a plate of pine apple fruits,expect to make N1000 if 10 persons patronise you.If someone purchases a plate of pine apple fruit,and asks that you mix it with say pawpaw,watermelon or carrot,yoghurt or milk etc,then your price automatically also goes up to say N200 or more!If they want juice,then sell it a little bit higher,say at N120 per cup!if they want it mixed up your price and make your money!

another option to this concept is to sale whole chilled fruits and have it prepared at the customers request.say i come and buy one pine apple fruit.after buying,i tell the fast fruit vendor to slice it all up and package them into take away plates for a higher price.so may be the pine apple costsa N200.To get it ready could cost me another N200!

Cool concept tho , just looking at the practical aspect ......hmmm
