Stomach infra-structuring is a present trend employed by politicians today during campaigns though it has been in existence since the 2nd republic here in Nigeria. Here they give food stuff and other materials to get their votes especially people in the rural areas.
Oppositions lay claim that it's a tactic employed by ruling parties to steal their own supporters (even though they themselves are guilty of the same crime in some instances).
From my own perspective, people aren't forced to receive this gifts let alone vote for the wrong candidate.
An electorate who accepts such gifts and votes for a candidate that's not their choice should have themselves to blame and not the political party that's trying to lure them.

Is it wise politicking from the politicians or is it just playing wrong? Remember, the electorate has a choice to refuse the gifts.
