ahh..oga seun thats what they told me o. the dad is also agile. there was an incident where the mum and dad attacked the wife of a DPO when the gate man open the gate to allow a car drive into the compound. the dogs ran into the street and pounced on the woman. the DPO was behind her and tactfully pushed the dogs away from his wife luckily they both escaped with minor scratches. the gate man was arrested and detained for three days.

Oga Seun, caucasians are of 2types, the plain and the mountain dogs, the plains have short coats while the mountain ones are the long coat and most common ones

using a Chain at a very early stage will help the DOG....... i have a four months old German sheperd female dog and she started like that.. but after using a chain to restict her movement she stopped being fwendli to stranger.. she now barks...

My dogs are emaciating and we noticed they stool almost every time especially one of them. Most times its almost like d food is undigested when you observe d stool. please am confused what can I do?

He might be friendly towards strangers when you are there, but without you and when he is at home, he might be more inclined to bark.Isolating him In their Rentals will make him unsocial and a poor pet.He is a boxer...they are pretty friendly dogs. I'd be happy my dog was friendly.Just for the record, I take my dog on a walk and he will see someone coming and give them the full body wag. On the other hand, some guy came to my door who was being pushy and obviously stressing me out. My dog came behind me growling with the hair standing up on his back. He knew the difference. This isn't to say this will happen with every dog every time

I have an 11 month old female Rottweiler, she plays too much, and she is always scared of Cain, my question is, is there a certain stage or age a Rottweiler will reach before the brutality and anger comes out or what?..... She is too friendly with everybody, but not with animals.

@seun, well some of the replies i have here has compelled me to always spend more time with the puppy.Today, i delibratley brought it food out side other than the usual -inside cage- and also released our fowl too, while feeding the puppy. so, i took some steps backward not to scare the fowl while the puppy was still feeding, the fowl rushed to that place and started feeding along with the dog as well. I was thinking perhaps, the puppy would bark at them to scare them away because i have seen cases like that but it did not. with that i concluded that these puppy is not the type that is protective of it territory coupled with the fact that it does not bark and follows strangers on first sight....
With these, i have however decided to u know feed it with a little weed and mokit (dry gen) , change the location of the cage to a place where it wouldnt have to see people or other domestic animal that much and anytime its out, he is usually on chain even when i know its inconviniencing the puppy all these is just to make the puppy tough...

I don't know if this wld help but let me tell you how it went with my dog. All d time it was a pup( less than a year) o tried to socialise him n took him to different places to meet people. My wife told me that he was too friendly n thus going to be useless as a guard dog. He would wag his tail n happily take a pat from anyone. Wen he turned 8 months, he turned on my househelp. Rt now he is 2yrs n d only people dt he respects are my wife, brothers n vet. Anyone else is a threat n he's ready to treat them as such. He became fearless, territorial n seemingly aggressive. But I love him. And we have lots of fun wen I can spare it. So I guess wat I'm trying to say is dt u should be patient with ur dog n give him a chance. N even if he doesn't turn out to be d killer u expect, I'm sure u'll still love him.

Your God attitude depends on how you train her,, my 3 months Bullmastiff doesn't play with people anyhow... And she's very aggressive

She look like normal dog but you can still train her and make her behave the way you want

My dog is almost a year old and it does not seem to protect the compound all he does is destroy anything he can dig out sand and never chase a stranger .........please somebody help me before I kill that dog
