This is clearly an 'infomercial' article. . .meant to boost interest in sports betting. The statistics and estimates do not add up.

The world casino money racking industry is not seeing this opportunity now. I hope South African and Nigerian investors in casinos will take this news and build standard betting businesses in Nigeria. The Las Vegas of Nigeria rather Africa might become reality through this means.

Nigerians wt their love for inflated and fraudulent figures.
To evn imagine dat d source is NAN shows how cheaply wi like throwing figures around without any sound basis.
How can 60m nigerians on d average b into sports betting, unless d source idea of nigerians are those in lagos. How can dey also bet on d average N3k daily,oh mine,I.e,a jobless youth gets to bet N90k monthly!
I think a more realistic poll wud find an average of about 6m nigerians betting N300 daily/N9k montly.

I don't believe this "statistic" for 1 second.

NL stats is just over 1 million users. Naija facebook stats is just over 5 million users.

Where did they get their 60 million users from
