Do we still follow this adage? is this adage really true? If yes, is it by flogging a child for every mistake or every wrong doing against parents' instruction?

If this adage is not applicable today, how do you discipline a stubborn child?

If you adopt this adage; how often do you use koboko, cane, belt, hand or discipline him like frog jump, press up, etc

or only a good relationship betwee the parent and the child is enough to train today's child.
